A multi-faceted masterclass: learn from riding master Ingrid Klimke

Sharing knowledge is not only a top priority at the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS, but is also close to the heart of Olympic team champion Ingrid Klimke. She has worked with motivated riders and horses in Aachen on several occasions, and this year she is returning to the Allianz Park as a trainer: on 21 November. She will be giving an exciting masterclass for hundreds of spectators.

"Ride for your enjoyment" – this is the motto under which Olympic team champion and riding master Ingrid Klimke not only spends her own time with horses, but also structures her training. And it is precisely this approach that she will be sharing during the Masterclass at the Allianz Park, where, as one of the world's most successful riders, she will offer an insight into her philosophy.

Passing on her knowledge is close to the 58-year-old's heart. She has also worked with riders of various ability levels on several occasions at the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS, most recently during the three-day exclusive training course dressage in August 2024. The feedback from participants demonstrates her exceptional talent for working with horses and riders: "Ingrid Klimke is an incredibly empathetic person who can really get a feel for every situation and every horse."

This year's live training session in the festively decorated Albert-Vahle-Arena will once again be multi-faceted, just like Ingrid Klimke herself. It will include, among other things, cavaletti work as well as sessions ranging from the warm-up phase to cross-country obstacles. "I really enjoy teaching and I'm always delighted to pass on my knowledge to motivated students," says Ingrid Klimke, looking forward to an informative and entertaining afternoon in the run-up to Christmas.
